The U.S. Food & Drug Administration recently reached out to manufacturers of tobacco products as well as deemed tobacco products about the annual deadline for registration and listing of products. That deadline is December 31, 2018.
The Food & Drug Administration further reminded manufacturers that any newly changed products must be re-registered and re-listed; however, products which have not been introduced or changed since 2017’s deadline should not be re-submitted.
Manufacturers who may require guidance from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration can reach out to them per the following guidance:
” The Tobacco Registration and Product Listing (TRLM) Instructions page includes examples of completed registration and listing forms and a step-by-step guide for users accessing the FDA Unified Registration and Listing System (FURLS). Manufacturers can also read the Guidance for Industry: Registration and Product Listing for Owners and Operators of Domestic Product Establishments for more information. “
